It has rugged land, Mountains(alps to the north and appenies) hills several rivers warm summers grows crops mild winters

Led the army, elected 1 year, different magistrates some were judges some organized games/festivals
Senate:
Served for life, council of wealthy/powerful Romans that advised city leaders, second part
Assemblies and tribunes:
3rd part of government, protected common people, primary job is to elect magistrates who ran city of Rome

They are methods used to balance power.
Rome had it so anyone part of the government can be held from getting stronger or have more influential than others.

There a series of wars against Carthage. It broke out when Carthage sent it’s armies to Sicily island and Rome also sent armies. 1=won 2=won Zama 3= won

He avenged ceasers death attacked Antony for his divorcing sister

Durable roads, strong bridges, aqueducts to move water, large strong buildings, realistic structures, rights and duties of citizens, romantic language

Pompeii s a complete city that got covered in ash and dust from a volcanic eruption from the volcano mt. Masouvious. It’s important because if it never erupted we would not have known about Rome as much as we do today

Believes Jesus is the son of god, monotheistic, Jesus = messiah, bible is the new testamate
