Disinhibited attachment
When a child is equally friendly and shows equal affection to people who are familiar to them and total strangers. May be an adaptation to multiple caregivers.
Damaged intellectual development
Signs of mental retardation are common amongst institutionalised children - the later a child is adopted from the institution, the less dangerous to intellectual development
