Who are Medical Doctors (MDs)?
They are allopathic providers, who diagnose, provide treatments, perform procedures (surgical interventions), and write prescriptions
Who are Osteopathic providers (DOs)?
Uses modern medicine & surgical procedures, DOs use oestopathic manipulative therapy (OMT) in treating their patients
Who are Nurse practitioners (NPs)?
Provides basic patient care services, including diagnosing & prescribing medications for common illnesses. They focus on preventive care and disease prevention
Who are Physician Assistants (PAs)?
Practice medicine under the direction & supervision of a licensed MD or DO. PAs are able to make clinical decisions & be responsible for a variety of services
Who are Medical Laboratory Techs?
performs diagnostic blood testing on blood, bodily fluids, & other specimens under the supervision of a medical technologist
Who are Medical receptionists?
Check patients in & out, answering the phone, filing, faxing, etc
Who are Occupational Therapists?
Assist patients who have conditions that disable them developmentally, physically, mentally, and emotionally
Who are Pharmacy Techs?
Assist pharmacists w/duties that do not require the judgment of a licensed pharmacist
Who are Physical therapists?
Assisting patients in regaining their mobility & improving their strength & range of motion
Who are Radiology Techs?
Use various imaging types of equipment to diagnose and treat diseases

Consists of skill, behavior & appropriate judgment that represents the best qualities of a person in a specific position (dependability, initiative, flexibility, confidentially, and goof attitude!)
