A

Insider status ~> implies that the group is able to discuss with meet and is consulted by those it wishes to influence

Outsider status ~> implies the group doesn’t have direct access to those making decisions and is not consulted or directly involved in discussions. Don’t want to be part of the ‘system’ of talks and negotiations.
