Management must set tasks for other employees that need to be carried out to achieve set goal
(the function of managemnet is to be looking ahead, seeing potential oppoutunities or problems and setting tragets and strategies)
(management must bring together the resources of the business to a achieve the overall objectives that have been set)
Command
Managers set goals and should issue instructions to employees
Delegate
Give subordinates the authority to acrry out managemnet level tasks. This helps lessen the mangers workload.
Motivate
Management give their teams a reason to enjoy their work. Workers are motivated in many different ways
Results of good decision making:
Increased productivity, increased profits and growth of the business
Results of bad decision making:
Lose motivation, production disturbed and more customer complaints
