What are the two types of data?
Qualitative & Quantitative
Qualitative Data
Data can be descriptions in words of what is being observed.They are based on some quality of an observation like the 5 senses.
Quantitative Data
Data that has numeric measurements. The data are objective-they are the same no matter who measures them.
Discrete Data
Discrete Data can only take an integer values, and it is typically things counted in whole numbers.It cannot be broken down into fraction or decimals.
Continues Data
Can be broken down into fractions and decimals. Continuous Data is measured.
What is Data
Facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis.
