Main Motion - lowest precedence
Subsidiary Motions - Outrank Main motion but below privledged motions
Privledged Motions - highest rank
What determines if a motion is in order?
It is in order if it ranks higher than the motion under consideration.
List the precedence of all motions, from highest to lowest.
Priveldged
Fix the time to which to adjourn
Adjourn
Recess
Raise a question of priveledge
Call for the orders of the day
Subsidiary:
Lay on the table
Previous question
Limit or extend limits of debate
Postpone to a certain time
Commit - refer to committee

When no other motion is pending.
