What is a hazard?
A hazard is anything that is an actual or potential danger
What is the blurb that describes what the system is?
The system of car control is a way of approaching and negotiating hazards thy is methodical, safe and leaves nothing to chance. It involves carefully observation, early anticipation and planning, and a systematic use of the controls to maintain your vehicles stability in all situations.
What 2 things should you ask yourself regarding the processing of information?
1) what information do I new to gather about the road conditions, the behaviour of other road users and actual and potential dangers?
2) what do other road users need to know about my intentions?

What are the situations where braking and gear change may overlap?
1) going downhill
2) sharp left/right turn with a vehicle close behind or approaching
3) .low speed turns into left and right junctions with a vehicle close behind or approaching
