Definition of Motor Vehicle
A
Vehicle that is built to be propelled by a motor that forms part of the vehicle.

A
Must be in control of the steering, movement or propulsion of the vehicle.

Definition of Road
A
Area that is open to be used by the public and is developed for, or has one of its main uses, the driving or riding of motor vehicles.

A
- Area that divides a road
- Footpath or nature strip
- Area designated for public and designated for use by cyclists and animals
- Shoulder of a road
- Area that is not a road but is used by the public for driving, riding or parking vehicles (think Black Elk).
