Q

Why did Hitler withdraw from the LON and disarmament conference in 1933

A

In October 1933 Hitler walked out of the disarmament conference and the League of Nations. The conference was part of the efforts to reduce military armaments and prevent another war, following the catastrophic effects of World War I. Hitler demanded that Germany be allowed to rearm on equal terms with other nations, particularly France and Britain. When his demands were rejected, Hitler decided to walk out of the conference in protest. Shortly afterwards, Germany formally withdrew from the League of Nations.
