who was Americas greatest ally during the Revolutionary War? what did they have to offer?
france. they gave the colonists money, guns/weapons, and a navy- the French navy would help block the British from importing goods, resources, weapons
what action taken by the crown with the east indian trade co. would make the colonists angry? what was the reason for the crowns action and what was the action taken by the colonists?
Crown/ East Indian Trade Co. would make the Tea Act of 1773, which ulimately make another tax, making colonists angry. The Crown did this for more control over the colonists, and the colonists would react w/ Boston Tea Party
what actions were taken by the crown after the french and indian war? what was the purpose of these actions?
after the war, Crown made the Proclamation of 1763. Crown did this because the English were going into the Ohio River Valley despite the Natives claims over the land, so the Crown wanted to stop hostilities between natives/colonists
what major events from 1760-1776 ifluences the colonists to want to rebel from the crown? what did they have in common?
proclamation of 1763, salutary neglect, sugar act, quartering act, stampt act, declatory act, townshend act, ignorance of first continental congress
All of these events were a way for the crown to gain furhter control of the colonists through taxes/restrictions

natural rights (life, liberty, property) + a promisary note for the end of slavery. DOI itself = a letter of accusations against the king of england

to consider ways to address the colonial grievances

british began to impost acts upon the colonises (sugar, quartering, stamp) that all led to taxes. colonists didnt like this/ became united, and the phrase was made
