A
Water course back to a more natural state, improve water quality, manage bank side vegetation and habitats

Why did they allow flooding here
A
It affected no one here (as they created a more natural channel) because it was away from Coleshill and decreased the chances of flooding downstream in Oxford

A
- Mill Leaf ‘by pass’
- Introduction of meanders
- Mature willows retained along old course- take up a lot of water and decrease soil erosion
- Reedbed formed in existing river
