Flat area next to a river that floods

Where a river ends, in an ocean sea or lake

A meander that was cut off from the river and abandoned

A deep pool below a waterfall
What’s the rapids?
When a river flows quickly and the currents swirl around
What’s a reservoir?
A man made structure that stores fresh water for human use
