duty of care is the legal obligation people must abide by to make sure everyone is safe. At a party, it is the host’s duty of care.

The duty of care relating to alcohol consumption states that drivers are not allowed to drink, a maximum of three drinks daily and people under the age of 18 are prohibited from drinking alcohol.
