  13. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)?
  14. Severe mental illness?
  15. On atypical antipsychotic medication?
  16. Are you on regular steroid tablets?

Criteria for WELLS SCORE?

A

HPC:

  1. Clinical signs and symptoms of DVT
  2. PE is #1 diagnosis OR equally likely
  3. Heart rate > 100
  4. Hemoptysis

PMHx:

  1. Previous, objectively diagnosed PE or DVT
  2. Malignancy w/ treatment within 6 months or palliative?
  3. Immobilization at least 3 days OR surgery in the previous 4 weeks

  3. untreated long-standing hyperthyroidism,
  4. hypogonadism or premature menopause (<45 years),
