Whats the most dangerous COSHH substance?
Airborne gases or vapours like carbon monoxide as you cant see them or smell them

Reporting injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences regulations
What does RIDDOR enable?
Health and safety executive and local authorities to identify where and how risks arise and to investigate serious accidents.

What must you report?
- death
- fractures (no fingers or toes)
- amputations
- loss of sight
- crush injuries to head, torso or internal organs
- severe burns
- unconsciousness
- in hospital for 24hours
- when employee cant come to work for over 7days
- injuries to members of the public and people not at work where they have to go to the hospital
- work related diseases
- dangerous occurrences (near misses)
Reportable injuries
Must keep a record of them as well as diseases or dangerous occurrences. Date and method of reporting must be included.
Records need to be kept in a acceptable form
