A
Hitler passed an emergency decree which suspended the Weimar constitution. Thousands of communists were arrested.

The Nazi party won 43.9%, the DNVP won 7.9%.

23 March, 1933 Hitler proposed this act which allowed him to make laws without the Reichstag, the Reichstag supported this act. Germany was no longer a Democracy

14 July 1933, all political parties were banned apart from the Nazi Party. This removed all political opposition
