Associated with economic success and a better life, especially post ww1 with the 1920’s being a period of economic boom
What were Woodrow Wilson’s failings?
Went against his promise of isolationism, getting involved with ww1 and trying to get involved in more international affairs (league of nations)
Gets “too involved” in government decision making
What were Warren Hardings successes?
Promised a “return to normalcy”, to lower wages and to protect American businesses (buy American philosophy)
Support of conservative Christian views (such as prohibition)
What were Calvin Coolidge successes?
“Laíssez faire” approach to politics
Restored faith in the morality of the presidency post-Harding

They provided weak competition during elections
