HUMAN RIGHTS

A

Human rights is a fundamental right that someone is entitled to have, to be, or to do. For example, today we would not consider that one has the right to have slaves. From this position, rights relating to employment and freedom of movement arise. The UNDHR was agreed in 1948 and was based upon what had happened during the war.

UK COURTS (CIVIL COURT)

A

In a civil court, the vast majority of cases do not involve jury. Most civil cases are dealt with by county courts. This includes small claims cases. If the case is more serious it will be forwarded to the High Court. Civil Courts deal with personal injury claims, breaches of contract and other matters that arise between individuals or companies.
