Give some examples - 6 and what do they mean?

A

Hunger - hunger is when we don’t have enough food for our body.
Slavery - slavery is a mean and horrible way of forcing mostly innocent people to work in bad conditions for nothing.
Disease - a disease is an illness spread and caught leading to severe sickness and sometimes death.
Housing - then number of houses available to the population and the affordability of those houses.
Health - health is something everyone should have however in poorer countries they don’t have access to facilities used to keep your health in order.
Education - education is a place for all children and some adults to learn and understand important things in life for the future.

A

Availability of resources for individuals relative to their income and the local economy

HDI?

A

Human development index uses 3 indicators to show development of countries and the quality of life those countries have. These are GDP, life expectancy and adult literacy.

Why is this good?

A

This is good because it gives a more reliable picture of what a country is like rather than relying on 1 indicator which could give a disorted picture.
