Grade 2 music includes simple syncopation and well-prepared dotted rhythms as well as simple 16th and triplet rhythms.
Grade 3 music adds basic duple and triple syncopation and dotted rhythms. All note values are included except complex syncopation. Easy compound rhythms are included.
What is the difference between the rhythms in Grade 1 music versus Grade 2?

Grade 2 music adds simple syncopation and well-prepared dotted rhythms. Simple 16th and triplet rhythms are added. There is more use of non-unison rhythms.
