Common cold
Allergic rhinitis
Nasal polyps
What investigations are used to diagnose rhinosinusitis?
Nasal endoscopy
CT
Cultures - if bacterial sinusitis suspected
What is the management of rhinosinusitis?
Nasal saline irrigation
Analgesia
Intranasal corticosteroids
What is the second line management of rhinosinusitis?
High dose-nasal corticosteroids - 14 day course
Antibiotics reserved for persistent cases
