Q

What is Enthesitis?

And example

A

The central inflammatory unit of spondyloarthitis.

Entheses are infiltrated by T cells (enthesitis) producing bone erosions and heterotrophic new bone formation.

eg. Calcaneal spurs at insertion of plantar fascia.
