A

Systemic Onset JIA

  • Evanescent, maculopapular salmon pink rash.
  • Anterior uveitis.
  • Can be ANA, RF negative

16 year old African American male with the aforementioned rash and kidney disease.

A

Lupus

Many associated muucocutaneous manifestions associated with lupus. Seen at some point in 80% of patients. Includes malar rash, discoid rash, photosensitivity, oral ulcers (including silent ulceration). For diagnosis need 4 of the 11 attached criteria.

Dermatomyositis

Heliotrope: Red rash around the eyelids

Gottron’s Papules: Scaly rash on the knuckles

A

HSP: IgA Vasculitis, associated with arthritis, abdominal pain, and GI hemmorrhages. Associated hematuria and proteinuria may be seen.

2 year old female with abrupt onset of fever and tender, painful nodules.

A

Sweet Syndrome.

Acute neutrophilic dermatosis. Associated with very tender nodules or plaques. Presents with arthralgias, oral ulcers. Frequnetly associated with malignancy (AML, GAS, G-CSF).
