Making a link between what you are describing and something else which is unrelated

Repeating the same word at the start of consecutive sentences or phrases
What is Epiphora?
Repeating the same words at the end of consecutive sentences or phrases
What is Auxesis?
Gradually building up/ increasing in size
What is Epizeuxis?
Repeating the same word consecutively
What is Anadiaplosis?
When the last word of a sentence is then repeated as the first word of the following sentence
What is Litotes?
Understatement for effect
