uses vivid description that appeals to a readers senses to create an image or idea in their head

When a writer or speaker places two things side by side to highlight their difference

when an author repeat words or phrases to add emphasis on a specific question

A polite phrase or word used in place of one that may be too direct or harsh

A balance within one or more sentences of similar phases of clauses that have the same grammatical structure
Syntax
The way words are put together to form phrases, clauses, and sentences. It is sentence structure and how it influences the way a reader
Rhetorical Question
When an author asks a question that’s not meant to be answered but to prove a point
Satire
When an author uses humor, irony, or sarcasm to mock or critcize something
