pathophysiology of rhabdomyolysis
A
Breakdown of skeletal muscle ->myoglobin -> excess free myoglobin filtered by kidneys -> can precipitate in tubules -> obstruction & acute renal failure
Damaged muscle -> intravascular depletion & hypovolemia -> poor renal perfusion -> further renal damage
