A
- inspect
- clean lens, rinse and conditioner

How do you insert an RGP
A
- same lid control as SCL
- Px look at target
- place into cornea
- gently release lens
- discomfort comes from top lid interacting with lens edge, so get Px to look down

How to remove an RGP
A
- Px looks straight ahead
- lift top and bottom lid to the top and bottom of lens
- apply pressure to edge of lens and will fall out
- if not centred, lens will just slide
- lid margins need to be against the ocular surface

- pooling means the tear lens is thick
- look at 3 areas - centre/midperiphery/periphery
