Tactics used by fighter outside of a regular army such as shooting at soldiers from hiding places in the woods.
Continental army
Army for the colonies led by general George Washington who fought against the british.
Allies
People or countries who help each other.
Volunteers
People who freely perform a service
Bayonet
A sharp blade attached to the end of a musket.
Two problems the continental army faced
They weren’t well disciplined and they only had 15,000 people. The army was small, soldiers weren’t paid and they couldn’t buy supplies.
Two problems the British army faced
The continental army attacked the war ships. The British didn’t have alot of food because the colonists wouldn’t help.
Less people on blue team
The continental army was smaller.
Blue team will get candy if they win
The colonies would be a free and independent nation.
Not all blue team members will get the candy
Slaves would not have freedom.
White team cheers for the blue team
Allies supported the colonies.
Some members of the red team stand several yards away and join only when pulling has begun.
British troops and supplies had to come across the Atlantic ocean.
Red team must pull the flag 20 feet to win within 30 seconds
Britian was fighting an offensive war and colonists were fighting a defensive war.
