In some places peasants stopped during their labour services week work. Often they have the
lord a low payment instead. Lords did not complain because they wanted to keep the peasants on their manors.

The presents still had to go attend farming or what ever job they had during the plague but some may have died due to the plague so there lord had an open space for that job.

The lords would have peasants that would be living in the village or town to work for them.
