Malpractice
A legal term to describe a practitioners failure to provide professional services or exercise the degree of skill that is ordinarily expected of a healthcare professional in a similar situation
Common health care ethical principles:
Autonomy- clients have a moral right to make choices about their healthcare
Non maleficence- cannot harm other clients
Beneficence- must benefit or help your clients
Fidelity- healthcare professionals must be loyal,faithful people who clients can trust to keep their commitments to them and to society

Respect for persons:dignity and worth of all humans
Responsible caring: minimize harm and maximize benefits
Integrity in relationships: honest, openness,avoid conflicts of interest
