What is a feature?
A fact, part or characteristic of a product.
What is a benefit?
How a feature can be used or can help a customer.
What are the 3 categories of benefits?
Emotional: how the product will make a customer feel.
Functional: what the feature does for the customer.
Economic: what the feature enables in terms of money and time.
Research indicates you’ll be much more likely to make a sale when you talk about:
a) features, or;
b) the benefits of those features?

This way, you give your customers a good reason to be interested in continuing the conversation.
