Theseus
managed to politically unify Attica under aegis.
one of the greatest of all Greek heroes. took part in the trojan war. Was dipped in the river Styx as a child making him immortal except for his heel which was held out of the water. died from an arrow to the heel during the war
achilles
a pupil of Chiron and died after angering Athena. the most popular version of the myth says he saw Athena naked and she told him to never speak again or he would turn into a stag, he called his hunting dogs to him and turned to a stag and his well trained hunting dogs killed him
Actaeon
a trojan hero. son of Aphrodite. one of the few trojans not killed in the war
Aeneas
her father left in the woods to die after she was born because she was female. a bear adopted her and she grew up to be a gifted hunter. when she grew up she would race possible suitors and they could marry her if they won.
Atlanta
was gifted a golden bridle from Athena which allowed him to catch Pegasus. he was later set some tasks such as killing the Chimaera which he succeeded in doing with the help of Pegasus. He became arrogant and attempted to fly Pegasus up to mount Olympus but was thrown off Pegasus and lived the rest of his life crippled.
Bellerophon
the twin brothers Castor and Pollux. assisted Jason in his quest. they were turned into the Gemini constellation
Dioscuri
the greatest Greek hero of all time. a half god with superhuman strength. most famous for the twelve labours of Heracles.
Heracles
leader in the quest of retrieving the golden fleece.
Jason
would die as soon as one of the sticks from his fireplace burned completely. kept this stick in a safe place. Married Atlanta. his stick was burned by his mother and he died
Meleager
a legendary hero. main protagonist in Homer’s “Odyssey”. came up with the plan of the Trojan horse in the trojan war.
Odysseus
father of Achilles.

most renowned for killing medusa
