- COMPLICATION of PNEUMONIA
-Happen after breathing in infected oral secretions (gingivitis, drug abusers, ppl with neuroligical issues
- Caused by Aerobic bacteria STREP, STAPh, MYCOBACTERIA/FUNGI
- Abscesses connect with other airways and erode bronchial walls leaving an air/fluid filled cavity in bronchus
