What body system allow a person to inhale/exhale to move O2 in the bloodstream and get rid of waste from the lungs

A fancy name for throat; cavity behind your mouth

A fancy name for windpipe

Two tubes lead from trachea to the lungs
Bronchi
Smallest airway tubes connecting bronchi to alveoli
Bronchioles
Very small air sacs where the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide takes place

A muscle that helps you inhale and exhale, located beneath your lungs and heart

It’s a microscopic hairlike structure whose job is to trap dirt and germ

A special type of mucus found and throat; keeps throat and nose from drying out, has antibodies that kill bacteria on the air.

Blood vessel carrying blood away for the heart

inflammation of the mucous membrane that lines the bronchial tubes

inflammation of the air sacs in the lungs caused by bacterial infection

chronic disorder/inflammation and narrowing of the bronchial tubes with spasm
Asthma
chronic respiratory disorder caused by the destruction of lung tissue and air sacs are lost
Emphysema
bacterial infection that affects lungs. contagious, spread through air
Tuberculosis
intense fear leading to sweating, hyperventilation, racing heart, fear of death
Panic Attack
hereditary disease that cause s mucus membrane to produce too much mucus
