What is the structure of the respiratory system?
A
The respiratory system begins with the trachea (windpipe) which branches off into the two lung then into the primary bronchi, smaller bronchi, bronchioles before ending at the alveoli.

What is the structure of an alveoli?
A
A group of the alveoli is called an alveoli duct which branches off into individual alveoli that fill with air. In-between them capillaries which come into close contact to allow gas exchange.

What is the function of the respiratory system?
A
It function is to allow for oxygen and be inhaled and Co2 to be exhaled through gas exchange.
