Expiratory Reserve Volume
Volume of air inspired or expired with each breath during quiet breathing
Tidal Volume
Maximum volume of air inspired from the resting end-inspiratory level
Inspiratory Reserve Volume

Inspiratory Capacity
Maximum volume of air expired from the maximum inspiratory level
Vital Capacity
Volume of air remaining in the lungs at the end-expiratory level (the sum of RV and ERV)
Functional Residual Capacity (FRC)
Volume of air in the lungs after maximum inspiration (the sum of all volume compartments)
Total Lung Capacity
