A
Clinical signs and symptoms of DVT (minimum of leg swelling and pain with palpation of the deep veins) 3
An alternative diagnosis is less likely than PE 3
Heart rate > 100 beats per minute 1.5
Immobilisation > 3d or surgery in the previous 4wks 1.5
Previous DVT/PE 1.5
Haemoptysis 1
Malignancy (on tx, tx in last 6m, or palliative) 1

A
- Large S wave in lead I, a large Q wave in lead III and an inverted T wave in lead III - ‘S1Q3T3’
- RBBB + R axis deviation
- Sinus tachycardia

Leigonella pneumonia
A
Lymphopenia + hyponatremia Diagnose by urinary antigen Flu like sx then dry cough Deranged LFTs Treat with macrolide (erythromycin)

Mycoplasma pneumonia
A
Outbreak roughly every 4 years
Flu like sx + dry cough
Deranged LFTs
Tx with macrolide (erythromycin)
Haemolytic anaemia/ITP Erythema multiforme Encephalitis/GBS Myo/pericarditis Diagnosis with serology
