bleomycin
methotrexate

pneumoconiosis (occupational): asbestosis, coal workers, silicosis
hypersensitivity pneumonitis: mold, animals
TB
RSV
sacroidosis, CTD, vasculitis
iatrogenic: drugs
Signs of cystic fibrosis?
recurring chest infections
wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath and damage to the airways (bronchiectasis)
difficulty putting on weight and growing
yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes (jaundice)
diarrhoea, constipation, or large, smelly poo
a bowel obstruction in newborn babies (meconium ileus) – surgery may be needed
What is the difference between lung abscess and empyema?
both collection of pus
empyema - pus in pleural space
abscess - pus in lungs
What are the types of pneumothorax?
spontaneous: primary vs secondary
traumatic: injury vs iatrogenic
tension: air can get in but can’t get out
catamenial: for people with endometriosis
What are the differences in investigating COPD and asthma?
atopy, noctural sx
copd: hx and spirometry
bronchodilator reversibility testing used to diff
