The practice of helping a destroyed ecosystem recover.

Species that arrive first in a newly created environment
Biodiversity

An organism that helps define an entire ecosystem
Extinction
The dying out or exterination of a species
Invasive species
An organism that causes ecological or economic harm in a new enviorment where it is not native

A number of people or things sharing a specified charictaristic and following one after another
Colonize
Process by which a species spreads to a new area
Dominate
When a species is the most abundant species in an ecosystem
