Higher levels of education and income should improve residential options in general.
Do smaller or larger metropolitan areas exhibit higher levels of residential separation of whites from Asians, Latinos, and African Americans?
Larger, implying that minority residential options are more severely constrained in bigger metropolises. (Logan et al. 2004)
Why do cities with functional specializations of government workers have lower segregation?
The government workers are thought to reflect the fact that these areas tend to boast highly educated and somewhat transient populations that my be least resistant to integration. (Farley & Frey 1994)
