A

Paraphrasing is a literal translation of someone else’s words from a passage of a source used in a paper. A paraphrased source will be as long as, if not longer than, the original. Q

What should be paraphrased from a source to include in a paper?

A

Not everything should be paraphrased, however, all major words need to be paraphrased/changed and the sentence structure has to be rearranged. Proper pronouns, prepositions, articles, coordinating conjunctions (but, yet, so, for, and, nor,), etc. do not need to be changed.
