Define Research/Research Methodology
Research is a systematic investigation to find new facts, knowledge and information on a specific topic. It involves a movement from known to unknown. 4 types- quali, quanti, descriptive and mixed.
Research Methodology includes the various steps/stages adopted to carry out a research project.
An outline to systematically solve a research problem.
In other words, research methodology is about the principles that guide research practices.
Distinguish between Research Methodology & Research Method
Research methodology is like a planner suggesting various tools for carrying out research from start to finish.
Research methods are the tools themselves, used in the collection of data during research.
Thus, Research Method is a sub-set (an aspect) of Research Methodology.
6 types of research methods include :
Experimentation

Questionnaires

Is a concise summary of the main points and findings of a research/study
Designed to give the reader a complete, yet concise, understanding of your paper’s research and findings.

What is a research question
A research question is a question that a study or research project aims to answer
It is the main argument of the research. Must be answerable using quantitative and/or qualitative data, or by reading scholarly sources on the topic to develop your argument.
