Q

What is qualitative research design?

A

Qualitative research design is a research approach used to explore and understand people’s experiences, behaviors, emotions, and social phenomena in-depth.

It focuses on non-numerical data (words, images, observations) and seeks to uncover meanings, patterns, and interpretations rather than just statistical relationships.

Its main focus is to generate meaning, purpose or reality from opinions and experiences of participants.

Q

What is mixed-methods research?

A

Mixed methods research is a research approach that combines both qualitative and quantitative methods in a single study.
It allows researchers to gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of a research problem by integrating numerical data (quantitative) with rich, descriptive insights (qualitative).
