Research Design Flashcards
What is a Research Design?
It is a systematic approach that a
researcher uses to conduct a
scientific study.
It is a synchronization of identified components and data resulting in a plausible outcome.
Research Design
It is used to examine the relationship between variables by using numbers and statistics to explain and analyze their findings.
Quantitative Research Design
What are the four types of Research Design
- Descriptive
- Correlational
- True Experimental
- Quasi-Experimental
This is used to to describe the present status of a
phenomenon and DOES NOT REQUIRE a hypothesis
Descriptive Research Design
This is used to examine the relationship between variables by using numbers and statistics to explain and analyze their findings.
Correlational Research Design
This is a method used to establish a cause and effect relationship between two variables or among a group of variables. The independent variable is manipulated to observe the effect on the dependent variable.
True Experiment Research Design
This experiment is designed just like the true experiment design, except that it does not use randomized sample groups.
Quasi-experimental Research Design
