Requirements Flashcards
Requirements research
A subdiscipline of systems engineering and software engineering that is concerned with determining the goals, functions and constraints of hardware and software systems
Quality: Availability
A facility’s/products availability determines to what degree a facility/product is functioning correctly, and is able to provide sufficient capacity to handle requested use in a timely fashion (within pre-defined service windows).
Quality: Integrity
A facility’s/products integrity determines to what degree a facility/product is armed and protected against abuse, tampering, vandalism and/or malicious input
Quality: Scalability
The scalability of a facility determines how easy or difficult it will be to alter its capacity.
Quality: Adaptability
A facility’s/products adaptability determines how easy or difficult it will be to make a change to the setup of this facility/product.
Quality: Manageability
A solution’s manageability determines how difficult or easy it will be to keep a system operational.
Quality: Accountability
A solution’s accountability determines how easy it will be to measure and charge usage costs.
