Steps for required doc
- Create rule in rule editor.
- Attach rule at system definitions or department level. If at department level it will impact requirements for all patients admitted to that department.

Req Doc: Context
must be inpatient documentation requirements
Req Doc: Evaluation logic
AND - properties below must all be documented on to satisfy the required doc rule.
OR - Any of the properties can be documented on
CUSTOM allows for a combination of properties (1 and (2 or 3). The order the properties are listed is important.
Impact of using row vs group in flowsheet row ID of required doc
If group is entered user will need to fill out every row within the group to satisfy the rule.
Filter extension/filter rule in System Def or dep record of rule
further filters patients who will see this req doc
Flowsheet template field in req doc
Will bring user to that specific template from req doc
Req Doc - Ignore System Definitions
Located in department of req’d doc. Overrides system level.
How to add non-flowsheet to required doc
Use linked activity field. This will bring user to activity (care plan rather than flowsheets for example). If using this field, leave the flowsheet field blank.
