Students were suspended for wearing armbands in protest. Supreme Court Ruled they’re allowed. Established “substantial disruption test” to see if speech would create disruption to the learning environment

Amish believe that their children do not need school after 13. Wisconsin said no under “compelling interest”. Supreme court ruled yes under the 1st amendment.

old man wanted a gun but was illegal in the state. Supreme court said no and States can not ban guns because of the right to bear arms and equal protection of the law
