Repudiation Flashcards

Q
What is repudiation
A
- Leases can be repudiated if a lessee successfully makes a claim against their lessor/landlord for a breach of covenant or condition.
- If either party commits a serious breach of the terms of the lease, then the other may be able to treat the breach as repudiation of the lease as a contract in which case the lease will come to an end.
