what happens during fertilisation?

A

the ova is released into oviduct, it is then fertilise into a diploid zygote then the zygote travels through the oviduct towards the uterus and undergoes cell division into a ball of cells and then the ball of cells implant onto the uterus wall (endometrium) and develops an embryo.
